Yes! I was VERY excited. And to top it off there were TWO bobcats - or bobbykitties as my girls were calling them.

Steve, I can't believe you got several pictures of a bobcat. That's a pretty rare siteing even in Colorado!

Normally bugs are not my thing, but I found this very interesting. The collection of butterflies was very impressive.

Paul- Thanks for arranging the Destination Ride to the May Museum. It was actually more interesting and entertaining than I had anticipated.

For those that didn't go - there was about a 15 of us. Steve Wolf & Don Burns rode (Don on his Kow), The rest in cages. A couple of us brought some future riders (aka our kids).

I've created a test club gallery on PhotoBucket where you can view the shots from the event and upload more to the gallery to show with the club. To reach it go to

Destination Ride - May Museum - Jan 11

Post by firedawg on Sun Dec 21, 2008 10:15 am

Jan 11, 2009 - Destination Ride The next club event is a meeting Sunday Jan 11 at 2:00 PM at the May Museum. Of course you've ridden by the giant beetle on Colorado 115 highway up the hill past Fort Carson and wondered what it's all about. Wonder no more. The museum is normally closed for the winter but they will light and heat the place up for us is we have at least 10 people at $3.50 a head. Hope we can meet the minimum.
