As has been mentioned in the newsletter and at the last meeting Elaine and I will be riding down to the Bavarian Mountain Weekend on Friday the 11th of Sep. The route I'm taking is about 300 miles so we should be at the rally in plenty of time to get your tent set up befor the Friday night green chili is served. For ...

Anyone interested in a Memorial Day trip (make it a 4 day weekend) and head to the 4 corners? After doing some research this is the tentative schedule which is always open to discussion. To save money I want to camp at McPhee Rec Area which sits above the lake and has showers.

Friday 5/22 COS - Delores

On the way I want to check out Navajo State Park and Navajo Reservoir for future trips

COS - McPhee via Navajo 383 miles

Saturday 5/23 - Trail of the Ancients loop

Know this is a little premature but thought I would throw this out there to see if there is any interest. This event is on the weekend prior to Memorial Day and occurs along U.S. 50 which as we all know runs across Colorado from Holly in the East thru Pueblo to Salida to Grand Junction in the west.

I bumped anasazi's post over to here to see if we can get a thread going so we can all meet up and ride to Castle Rock

Is there any interest in PP Riders meeting someplace in the morning to ride as a group?

Also,

I was thinking of checking out the condition of 105 and riding from

Palmer Lake to Castle Rock the back way... assuming there aren't ice

patches in the shade. Any interest?
