I just got back from a two tour of Mexico and wanted to share the photos from my trip. I went with a Motodiscovery Tour which entered Mexico at Nogales and exited via Tijuana. Trip included San Carlos, Alamos, El Fuerte, Copper Canyon, Topolabampo, overnight ferry ride to La Paz, Cabo, Loreto, Guerrero Negro, Catavina, and Ensenada.

Highlight of the trip had to be the whale watching in Guerrero Negro.

I figured my RS could use some exercise since I have been neglecting it and riding the GS. It felt like a rocket in comparison (and also due to the fact I haven't ridden lately). Rode a ways with them and then just took a casual ride sliding down the sandy pavement near Cripple Creek. The roads were in pretty good shape other than sand and a few icy spots in shaded areas. Anyway, ...

I started out 09 just like I did when I entered this world 49 years ago - solo. The much anticipate plan to meet at the "It's A Grind" Coffee Shop and ride the 105 to Castle Rock was a bust . However, it was not a total loss. I had a great cup of coffee, read the Gazette and was thinking about leaving when in popped Kirk -- who had planned to ride but had a last minute change to a family commitment but wanted to stop by and have a cup a coffee. We had a good conversation over coffee ...

Sunday the weather was great and I headed out to find some local dirt roads. Heading North on 9 just as you come to bottom of Hoosier Pass is a road off to the left called Blue Lakes. About 1.5 miles back I ran into a young ...
