Hosting & Posting Images

Before you can load images to the forum they must be hosted on a server/site accessible via the Internet - not on your local hard drive. Below is a link to the Support Forums of Fourmotion (the folks that make this site possible) that provides some good information.

I have all my pics hosted at SmugMug so I know they are available online. However, I cannot seem to get them to "stick" in my profile when I update both the MugShot and Bike URLs.

Suggestions?

Not sure. The process as I know it is to capture the URL for the pic, which I did in SmugMug as an example by clicking the SHARE then GET A LINK button. Then just paste the URL into the spot in your profile. Note that only the bottom two fields in the profile are 'image' fields.

Interesting -- seems to be a size issue. When I attempt to link the "Small" picture from SmugMug, it does not take. But if I use the thumbnail (...TH.jpg) it works fine.


Not sure what's going on with that, but pics are added to my profile.
