Street Ride 1-22-09

I figured my RS could use some exercise since I have been neglecting it and riding the GS. It felt like a rocket in comparison (and also due to the fact I haven't ridden lately). I ran into some cool characters from ADVrider heading in the opposite direction so I turned around and ran them down. Rode a ways with them and then just took a casual ride sliding down the sandy pavement near Cripple Creek. The roads were in pretty good shape other than sand and a few icy spots in shaded areas. Anyway, here are a few pictures from spots along the enjoyable 200 mile route I snuck in.











I stopped at this old homestead that I have blown by many times before, but never actually looked around. It was pretty interesting.

All in all it was a great day of riding. The old Taxi ran like a swiss watch and...I...didn't fly off any cliffs.
